GLBA Notice
As a licensed insurance producer, we are subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). We collect nonpublic personal information only as needed to provide insurance services and do not share it with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law.
Section 7
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator within the timeframe required by law.
Section 8
Cookies, Pixels & Online Advertising
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: core site functionality, analytics to understand traffic and improve the site, and online advertising, which may include remarketing/retargeting pixels operated by third-party ad platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads. When an advertising pixel is active, it may collect pages visited, general on-site activity, and, if you submit a form, a one-way hashed (encrypted, non-readable) version of the email or phone number you provided, used only to match you for ad delivery and to measure campaign performance. That hashed matching data is handled by the ad platform under its own separate privacy policy, which we do not control.
Firewall on sensitive data
Health-related information, income and financial suitability information, and any other data collected for insurance quoting purposes (Section 2) is never used for ad targeting or retargeting, and is never shared with any advertising or analytics platform. It stays only with us and the licensed carriers and service providers named in Section 5.
We do not use tracking or advertising data to make eligibility or pricing decisions about you.
Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's or device's ad-tracking controls, and, where you have one enabled, we honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request for targeted advertising. You can also opt out directly at any time by emailing ryan@paxorbis.io with "Opt-Out" in the subject line. Blocking cookies may affect some site functionality but will not prevent you from contacting us directly.
Section 9
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting ryan@paxorbis.io. Retention periods of up to 7 years may apply to insurance-related records as required by state regulations; we delete or de-identify information once no longer needed for that purpose. Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Virginia, Texas, and others, have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent the advertising cookies and pixels described in Section 8 are considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under applicable state law, you can opt out at any time using the methods in Section 8, including an enabled Global Privacy Control signal or a direct email request. We honor access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests from anyone, resident or not, at the contact below. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service for exercising any of these rights.
Section 10
Children
This site and our services are not directed at, and are not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and it will be deleted.
Section 11
The Pax Orbis Platform
Paxorbisfinancial.com is a separate site and business from paxorbis.io, the pre-launch Pax Orbis software platform. If you follow a link to paxorbis.io, your information there is governed by that site's own, separate privacy policy, not this one.
Section 12
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting how we handle information you've already given us will be communicated directly, not just posted silently.
